The Ages of Kharsis
The recorded history of Kharsis has four ages listed
The Age of Antiquity
This is the time referred to before recorded history. Typically, in historical documents, you will see it referred to as A.A. in notations. There are seldom year markers included, but sometimes, when that information was still fresh, a year can be provided. It is typically known to be nearly 4,000 years in the past or greater.
The Chronicler’s Age
This is the time when the people of Kharsis were making good strides in the way of communication and civilization. The mystics of Kharsis raised the Hall of Notions where scholars, warriors, and artisans gathered to share ideas. It was at this time that a collective Kharsian history was commissioned by the Hall of Notions. Years in this age are generally noted as C.A. and they run from year 1 C.A. to 829 C.A. when Serget Roe was appointed King.
The Age of Testament
This time came to be as the result of Serget Roe’s rise to power and his peaceful and prosperous rule over Kharsis. The Gods announced themselves to the people of Kharsis and temples in their worship were constructed. There were good relations with the other continents and people generally lived decent lives on these shores. Most disagreements were solved with diplomacy, and warring was an alien concept to those who lived under the rule of Roe. Years in this age are generally noted as T.A. and run from 830 T.A. to 1198 T.A. when Serget died, passing the crown to Prince Orran, and life in Kharsis changed dramatically.
The Juror’s Age
The Juror’s Age saw the loss of the gods, the introduction of wars to settle disputes, and small kingdoms rising on Kharsis. Also in this time, the first Greenskins arrived in Kharsis, though their arrival and origins are a deeply guarded mystery even to their own kind. The Juror’s Age typically refers to years 1199 J.A. to the current year 3712 J.A.
