The Library of Roe
The Library of Roe once held all of the knowledge that man had collected. Roe himself had it commissioned and his brother, Forje, worked the magic that collected and transcribed all of the books. Rumors find whispered purchase still today that Forje kept an extra copy of every tome and scroll for his personal collection in The Oracle’s Tower.
Rumored to be deep within the stone of the Roespine Mountains, near the northern crest just beyond Vicsberg, it was carved by Dwarf artisans and enchanted by high elves to last eternally. Sadly, there were forces aligned against Roe and his brothers, and during the construction, cursed artifacts were built into the library’s very walls.
Twenty years after construction on the library finished, a ball of sound reverberated through the entirety of Kharsis, washing out from the Library. Anyone or anything not well-shielded from the aural assault spent the following days in complete silence. The Library was gone, without a trace, and no one brought forth any answers.
